Arizona broke a three game losing streak last week with their 52-17 home win against the Washington Huskies as a -8 ½ point favorite to go to 4-3 on the year. The game went over 65 ½ points.
They break it open by outscoring Washington 21-0 in the second half. The Wildcats put up 533 yards with 277 coming from their ground attack for over 5 ½ yards a carry. Arizona committed two turnovers and forced three from Washington.
Matt Scott completed 14 of 22 passes for 256 yards with four touchdowns and one pick. Ka’Deem Carey ran it 29 times for 172 yards with a touchdown. Dan Buckner caught five balls for 86 yards.
Arizona allowed Washington 380 yards on offense with 124 rushing for nearly 4 ½ yards a carry.
