TCU bounced back from their first defeat of the season by defeating the Baylor Bears on the road last week by the score of 49-21 as a +6 point underdog to improve to 5-1 on the 2012 campaign. The total landed over 69 points.
TCU blew open a close game after three quarters by outscoring Baylor 21-0 in the final quarter. Their offense put up 509 yards with 248 coming from their ground attack for 4 ½ yards a carry. The Horned Frogs had no turnovers and forced six away from the Bears.
Trevone Boykin hit on 22 of 30 passes for 261 yards with four touchdowns. B.J. Catalon rushed it 17 times for 79 yards. Josh Boyce caught eight passes for 85 yards and a touchdown.
TCU allowed Baylor 432 offensive yards with 106 coming from their rushing game for just over 3 yards a carry.
