The betting odds came out with the home team Louisville Cardinals favored by -6 ½ points with an over under lined at 54 points.

South Florida has lost four straight games and come in off the bye week. They fell to 2-4 on the season after a 37-28 road defeat to the Temple Owls in week six as a -4 ½ point favorite. The total came in at over 47 ½ points.

The Bulls gained 384 yards of offense with 165 coming from their rushing game for less than 4 yards a carry. They had three turnovers and took none away from the Owls.

B.J. Daniels hit on 18 of 31 passes for 219 yards with a touchdown and pick. Demetris Murray on 19 rushes ran for 80 yards and a touchdown. Derrick Hopkins caught three passes for 66 yards.

South Florida allowed the Temple offense 383 yards with 216 coming on the ground for over 4 yards a carry.
