In Big Ten conference action the Purdue Boilermakers will travel to face the Minnesota Golden Gophers in a week nine NCAA college football game on Saturday afternoon.

Minnesota has last three straight games to fall to 4-3 on the season. They are coming off the 38-13 road defeat at Wisconsin last week as a +17 point underdog. The over under came in at over 46 points.
After a competitive first half the Golden Gophers get outscored 24-7 in the second half in the loss. Their offense put up 245 yards with 96 rushing for over 3 yards a carry. Minnesota converted on 1 of 10 on third down.
Phillip Nelson hit on 13 of 24 passes for 149 yards with two touchdowns and two picks. Rodrick Williams Jr. ran for 67 yards on 16 carries. Brandon Green caught three balls for 44 yards and a touchdown.
Minnesota allowed Wisconsin 443 yards of offense with 337 yards rushing for over 6 yards a carry.
