The Notre Dame Fighting Irish will kick off the 2012 NCAA college football campaign as they make a trip out of the country to face the Navy Midshipmen on Saturday morning.
Kick off time from a neutral site in Ireland is scheduled for 9AM Eastern Time with national television coverage provided by CBS.

Theo Riddick had just 14 rushes in 2011 for 63 yards in limited work as a junior. Their top receivers are all back for the exception of leading receiver Michael Floyd who is now in the NFL.
The Midshipmen head coach Ken Niumatalolo enters season five with Navy. It was a disappointing year for Navy as the club finished at 5-7 and failed to make a bowl game for the first time in several seasons. He returns six starters to his offense and seven to the defense.
Trey Miller a junior quarterback will start and served in a backup role in 2011. He completed 12 of 29 passes last year for 205 yards and three touchdowns in limited duty under center in 2011. Gee Gee Greene is back in 2012 and was the team’s third leading rusher last year with 507 yards on 64 carries and three touchdowns with an impressive 7.8 yards per rush average. Their top four pass receivers all return this year for Navy.
