The New England Patriots are on the road to open their 2012 NFL regular season as they face the Tennessee Titans in a pro football game on Sunday afternoon.
Kick off time from Tennessee is scheduled for 1PM Eastern Time with national television coverage provided by CBS.

The Tennessee Titans will be without their top wide receiver in Kenny Britt who is suspended for this game. Kick return specialist Marc Mariani is sidelined with a broken leg.
Under center for the Titans will be second year man Jake Locker. In 2011 during his rookie campaign Locker hit on 51.5% of his throws for 542 yards with four touchdowns and no picks.
At running back is Chris Johnson and sharing carries in the backfield are Javon Ringer, Jamie Harper and Darius Reynaud.
With Britt out the team will count on Nate Washington, Lavelle Hawkins and Damian Williams.
The Titans finished play in the 2011 season with a record of 9-7 and second place in the AFC South division. They missed out on a playoff berth by losing the tiebreaker to Cincinnati.
The team is looking for improvement offensively as they ran for just 89 yards per game ranking second to last in the NFL.
