The Colts injury report has wide receiver Austin Collie listed as questionable after suffering yet another concussion which occurred during the preseason.
Former Stanford quarterback Andrew Luck will start at quarterback.
His running backs are veterans Donald Brown, Mewelde Moore, Delone Carter and Vick Ballard.
Reggie Wayne returns at the wide receiver position and is joined by Donnie Avery, Griff Whalen and LaVon Brazill
The Colts finished up play in 2011 at 2-14 and were the worst team in football to earn the number one pick in the draft. Indianapolis fell to 28th in scoring defense last year allowing nearly 27 points per game.
The Bears injuries include linebacker Brian Urlacher who is listed as probable with a left knee problem that went under the knife during the middle of August. Wide out Johnny Knox is out with a spine problem.

Matt Forte returns as the lead running back and he will be joined by former Raider Michael Bush and Lorenzo Booker.
Devin Hester is back at the receiver position along with Brandon Marshall, Dane Sanzenbacher and Earl Bennett.
The Bears finished off the 2011 campaign and 8-8 and failed to land a playoff spot as the third place team in the AFC North division. They finished 24th in total offense with 314 yards per game thanks in part to the season ending injury to Jay Cutler.
