It was nice to deliver a winner here for our message board visitors on Saturday as South Carolina covered the 7-point spread against the Georgia Bulldogs. Today we will deliver a free pick from the NFL as the Dallas Cowboys are in Tampa to take on the Buccaneers. With our free pick we will play the Tampa Bay Buccaneers +5 ½ against the Dallas Cowboys. Tampa Bay may have fooled the sports betting public a bit in preseason as many players were auctioning for jobs and when you take a look at the final cast you realize the team has talent. Byron Leftwich is debuting under center for the Bucs and still has something left. Tampa Bay acquired running back Derrick Ward from the #1 rushing team the New York Giants in the off season. Carnell Williams and Earnest Graham will also get some carries. Out wide Leftwich will have Michael Clayton, Antonio Bryant and tight end Kellen Winslow Jr. who will be at tight end to throw to. On defense Ronde Barber and Aqib Talib are solid corners. The Bucs also have a solid front four. The Florida teams who play at home in September have a huge advantage because of the extreme heat. Tony Romo will no longer have Terrell Owens out wide and Owens when with the Cowboys demanded a double team. I believe the Bucs secondary can cover this group of Dallas receivers. The Dallas offensive line is getting old and in the fourth quarter expects the Buccaneer defense to put heavy pressure on Romo who will have a tiring offensive line laboring under the extreme Florida sunshine of September.
