South Carolina has a pretty good defense as we witnessed in their 7-3 victory over NC State. The Gamecocks have an experienced and huge defensive line that allowed just 59 rushing yards and their good secondary just 74 passing yards 10 days ago. 5th year senior quarterback Joe Cox had to wait a long time to take over the helm as starting quarterback as Matthew Stafford was running the team. Well in his debut Cox had two big turnovers in their 24-10 loss and felt like he let down the club. It has been reported that Cox is fighting the flu and has a sore shoulder so there is some speculation that sophomore quarterback Logan Gray could see some action in this game. When we look at the past two meetings between these clubs when the Bulldogs had Matthew Stafford at quarterback and Knowshon Moreno at running back they could score no more than 14 points in those two games. Georgia gave up 172 yards on the ground last week to Oklahoma St. We will see plenty of running from the Gamecocks who sport an experienced offensive line. Take the points in this SEC game.
