With our horse racing pick on Saturday we will pick from the Barretts Debutante Stakes to be run at Fairplex Park.

The Barretts Debutante is a non graded event for two year old fillies racing on the 6 ½ furlong dirt surface at the bullring of Fairplex.

This stakes race is scheduled as the 11th race on today’s card with a post time of 8:10PM Eastern Time and you can watch it on TVG.

The horse racing selection is playing on #5 Dearly Concerned to win.

Dearly Concerned will be ridden by the king of the bullring Martin Pedroza and is trained by Jerry Hollendorfer.

This two year old is coming off a nice win in a maiden claiming $62,500 event at Del Mar back on September 3rd posting a solid 87 Brisnet figure.

Pedroza should sit this one in a stalking trip to Brazzle Dazzle who should be the pacesetter here and will pass her in the stretch.

The experience of Pedroza at this track has netted him 26 winners in his 57 mounts this meeting.

Jerry Hollendorfer has had a great 2010 season with his crop of fillies.
