The Cincinnati Bearcats out of the Big East conference will face the Vanderbilt Commodores from the SEC conference in the Liberty Bowl in an NCAA college football game on New Year’s Eve.
Kick off for the Liberty Bowl from Memphis Tennessee is scheduled for 3:30PM Eastern Time with national television coverage provided by ABC.
The point spread opened up with the Vanderbilt Commodores favored by -2 ½ points with an over under of 48 points.
Early money from the college football betting public has come on the side of the Bearcats as the Vanderbilt Commodores are now favored by -2 points.

Anthony McClung led Cincinnati with eight receptions for 142 yards and two receiving touchdowns.
Blake Annen had a 27 yard pass reception.
Alex Chisum caught a 22 yard touchdown.
The Vanderbilt Commodores will play in their home state of Tennessee in the Liberty Bowl with a record of 6-6 on the 2011 year. The club is 1-4 on the road.
Vandy averages 26 points and 342 yards per game with 167 yards rushing for 4.4 yards a carry.
On defense the Commodores allow 20 points and 324 yards a game. Teams run for 123 yards against them for 3.4 yards per rush against average.
Vanderbilt is 1-5 versus bowl teams this season. Their lone win came against Wake Forest and the team lost to Florida, Arkansas, Georgia, Alabama and South Carolina.
The team earned bowl eligibility in their final regular season game as they posted the 41-7 road victory against the Wake Forest Demon Deacons as a +1 point underdog.

Zac Stacy rushed for 184 yards on 28 carries and three rushing touchdowns.
Jerron Seymour had five carries for 17 yards.
Brandon Barden led Vanderbilt with two receptions for 80 yards with a receiving touchdown.
Jordan Matthews had two catches for 79 yards with a touchdown.
Chris Boyd grabbed three balls for 18 yards.
