The Missouri Tigers from the Big 12 conference will do battle in the Independence Bowl against the North Carolina Tar Heels from the ACC conference in an NCAA college football game on Monday the day after Christmas.
Kick off time in the Independence Bowl from Shreveport Louisiana is scheduled for 5PM Eastern Time with national television coverage provided by ESPN.
The betting odds opened up with the Missouri Tigers favored by -3 ½ points with an over under of 52 points.

The Missouri Tigers will play in the Independence Bowl with a mark of 7-5 on the year. The club is 2-4 away from home.

Marcus Lucan had a 53 yard touchdown catch.
Jerrell Jackson had three catches for 46 yards.
Wes Kemp grabbed two balls for 29 yards and a receiving touchdown.
