Guard Joe Johnson had a poor shooting performance with just 5 points on 2 of 12 from the field.
Forward Al Horford had just 9 points but pulled down 14 rebounds and dished six assists.
Off the bench Marvin Williams chipped in with 12 points and five rebounds.
Atlanta won both playoff meetings held at home in this series.
In game three it was the Hawks with the 88-84 home win as a +1 ½ point underdog.
The Magic struggled from three in the loss with 8 of 28 from beyond the arc.
Game four went to Atlanta 88-85 as a +2 point home underdog. The game played under the total of 178 ½ points.
Orlando shooting cost them this victory as the club made just 39.2% from the field and a horrible 2 of 23 from the three point line.
A positive for the Magic to take in game six is the fact the club shot terribly in Atlanta but lost my no more than four points in each game.
