The AFC champion Pittsburgh Steelers will face the NFC champion Green Bay Packers in the Super Bowl XLV to be played on Sunday night February 6th 2011.
This NFL pro football game for the Super Bowl trophy will kick off from Cowboys Stadium in Arlington Texas at 6:20PM Eastern Time with national television coverage provided by FOX.

On the ground Rashard Mendenhall was huge with 27 carries for 121 yards and a touchdown. Mendenhall had two catches out of the backfield for 32 yards.
Heath Miller led the Steelers with just two receptions for 38 yards. Hines Ward chipped in with just two catches for 14 yards. Emmanuel Sanders caught a pass for 20 yards.
On defense the Steelers surrender 15 points and 269 yards per game.
They allowed the New York Jets 289 yards and only 5 of 14 conversions on third down. Pittsburgh did a good job defending the run as they allowed the Jets only 70 yards rushing on 22 carries for a 3.2 yards per rush average.
The Steelers allowed Jets second year quarterback Mark Sanchez to complete 20 of 33 passes for 233 yards with two touchdowns and no picks.
The Green Bay Packers the champions of the NFC conference will play in Super Bowl XLV with an overall record of 13-6. The team averages 25 points and 359 yards per game.

Defensively the Packers surrender 15 points and 304 yards per game.
Green Bay held the Chicago Bears offense to 301 yards and a miserable 1 of 13 successful tries on third down. The Packers gave up 83 rushing yards on 24 carries to their NFC north rival for a 3 ½ yards per rush average.
Green Bay allowed the trio of Chicago Bears quarterbacks to complete a combined 19 of 38 passes for 218 yards with a touchdown and three interceptions.
