The Stanford Cardinal will open up PAC 10 conference play with a trip to the Rose Bowl to battle the UCLA Bruins in a college football game late Saturday night.

Sophomore running back Jonathan Franklin rushed 13 times for 60 yards but his longest gain was only 9 yards. The Bruins did find success on the ground with a respectable 5.2 yards per rush combined from their ball carriers.
The freshman Bruins wide out Ricky Marvray caught a pass last week for a 29 yard touchdown.
