West Virginia’s top receiver Jock Sanders returns and he had 8 catches for 71 yard and a touchdown last week.

The team allowed 22 points and 337 yards per game on the defensive end.

They held their FCS opponent last week to just 186 total yards and 2 of 14 on third downs. Coastal Carolina could only average 1.9 yards per rush last week.

The Thundering Herd were very sloppy in defeat last season in their rivalry game as they had 4 turnovers.

The Marshall defense allowed Noel Devine to rush for 103 yards on 19 carries with two touchdowns. The defense held its own against the Mountaineers as West Virginia converted on just 3 of 13 on third down and had 313 total yards.
