A positive for Vanderbilt was their running game that produced 192 yards and a 5.1 yards per rush average last week.

LSU defeated Vanderbilt in their meeting last season 23-9 as a 14 point home favorite. The LSU defense smothered the Commodores as Vandy could only muster 122 yards passing and 88 on the ground.
