Samford was able to amass 300 yards on the Seminoles last week but only gained 2.0 yards per run on 38 carries.

The team finished off 2009 with an 8-5 record and defeated Stanford 31-27 as a 10 point favorite in the Sun Bowl.
Sophomore quarterback Landry Jones returns under center for the Sooners after starting during his freshman season after Sam Bradford was lost for the season against BYU.
Jones completed only 58.1% of his passes last season for 3198 yards with 26 touchdowns and 14 picks.
Oklahoma began their 2010 season posting the 31-24 harder than expected victory against Utah St Aggies from the WAC conference as a 35 point betting favorite.
Landry Jones had accuracy issues last week completing just 17 of 36 passes against a WAC team for 217 yards two touchdowns and 2 picks.

The issue at hand is if Oklahoma can allow 341 passing yards to Utah St what will Heisman Trophy candidate Christian Ponder produce this week for the Seminoles through the air against a struggling Sooners pass defense.
