It’s the big one on Labor Day Monday as the Boise St Broncos will travel to a neutral field to battle the Virginia Tech Hokies in prime time.
They kick off this game from Fed Ex Field in Washington at 8PM Eastern Time with national television coverage provided by ESPN Television.

Virginia Tech head coach Frank Beamer has been in the program 24 years and he will find 8 returning starters on offense and only 5 to his defensive corps to start the season.
The 2009 season saw the Hokies finish 10-3 and the team produced a 37-14 victory against the Tennessee Volunteers as a 5 point favorite in their bowl game. The Hokies finished strong in 2009 with 5 straight wins.
Quarterback Tyrod Taylor returns for his senior season in 2010. He has battled accuracy issues throwing the football during his college career and last season he hit on 56% of his passes for 2311 yards 13 touchdowns and 5 picks.
The teams top running back returns in sophomore Ryan Williams who produced 1720 rushing yards on 293 carries with 21 touchdowns and a very good 5.6 yards per carry average.
Virginia Tech’s top two receivers are back in juniors Danny Coale and Jarret Boykin. These are big play wide receivers as they each combined for over 20 yards per reception.
The Hokies averaged 32 points and 392 offensive yards last season. On the defensive side of the ball the team allowed 16 points and 295 yards.
