The teams top running back returns in sophomore Ryan Williams who produced 1720 rushing yards on 293 carries with 21 touchdowns and a very good 5.6 yards per carry average.

Virginia Tech’s top two receivers are back in juniors Danny Coale and Jarret Boykin. These are big play wide receivers as they each combined for over 20 yards per reception.

The Hokies averaged 32 points and 392 offensive yards last season. On the defensive side of the ball the team allowed 16 points and 295 yards.
