Marshall averaged 22 points and 349 offensive yards in 2009. The defense held their opponents to 24 points and 372 yards per game.

The Thundering Herd met a powerhouse last season in Virginia Tech and got pounded 52-10 in week 2 as a 19 ½ point underdog.

Ohio St will bring back 10 offensive starters and only 6 to the defense in 2010. There are talks of a National Championship run for the Buckeyes this season. The club finished 11-2 last year and defeated Oregon in the Rose Bowl 26-17 as a 5 point underdog.

Junior quarterback Terrell Pryor brings in tons of momentum after leading the Buckeyes to a Rose Bowl win. Pryor only completed 56.5% of his passes for 2094 yards 18 touchdowns and 11 interceptions.

Pryor led the Buckeyes on the ground with 1014 yards on 162 carries and 7 touchdowns. The Buckeyes return their top four ball carriers from a year ago. Senior Brandon Saine rushed 145 times for 768 yards and 4 touchdowns and junior Dan Heron contributed with 153 carries and 633 yards with 7 TD’s.

The Buckeyes top 4 pass catchers are back and are led by junior Devier Posey who posted 60 catches for 828 yards and 8 touchdowns in 2009.

Ohio St produced an average of 29 points and 369 offensive yards per game. Their defense was stout allowing their opponents just 13 points and 262 yards per game. Opposing running backs could only muster 2.9 yards per carry against their defense last season.
