Four year veteran Matt Moore the Panthers starting quarterback in the preseason has hit on only 10 of 24 passes for 89 yards no touchdowns and 1 pick. Jimmy Clausen in two games completed 17 of 37 passes for 152 yards no touchdowns and 2 interceptions.

Second year pro Hunter Cantwell is battling for a roster spot and saw action in week 1 by hitting on 6 of 17 passes for 68 yards and 3 sacks. Rookie Tony Pike from Cincinnati is on the roster but has only thrown 1 pass in preseason.
