The Arizona Cardinals will hit the road to face fellow NFC conference club the Chicago Bears in a week 3 NFL preseason game on Saturday night.

They will kick off this game from Chicago at 8:30PM Eastern Time with live television only to the Chicago and Arizona markets. National tape delayed television is presented by the NFL Network on Sunday afternoon at 4PM Eastern Time.

The LVSC NFL odds makers have set the betting line in this game and it was the home team Chicago Bears coming in as 3 point betting favorites with an over under of 37 ½.

The early money from the NFL betting public came in on the home team as the Chicago Bears are now 4 point favorites. The total saw movement upward to 38.

Money line bettors playing the favored Chicago Bears will lay -210 odds with the road underdog Arizona Cardinals returning +180 to win this game outright without the aid of taking the points.

The Cardinals sit at 1-1 in the preseason. The team has struggled on the ground with only 66 yards rushing per game.

The team suffered turnover during the off season to their defense and the team has been torched against the pass allowing 241 yards passing per game in the preseason.

Former Cleveland Brown Derek Anderson will get the start. In preseason the veteran has completed 24 of 41 for 193 yards 1 touchdown and 2 picks.

Matt Leinart suffered some embarrassment relieving Anderson in the dress rehearsal for the regular season. The former first round draft pick has completed 10 of 13 passes for 77 yards no touchdowns and no picks. The coaches may have lost confidence in Leinart and this move may signal the end of the former USC Trojan at Arizona.

Rookie Max Hall from BYU is fighting for a job in the NFL and has completed 7 of 15 for 101 yards 1 touchdown and 1 pick last week in his only action this preseason. Rookie John Skelton from Fordham played in week 1 and completed 5 of 6 for 84 yards a touchdown and no picks.

The Bears are 0-2 in the preseason. The passing game has not found its form as the club has only averaged 134 yards through the air in the preseason.

Jay Cutler in the preseason has completed 9 of 17 passes for 146 yards a touchdown with no picks but 6 sacks. The Raiders sacked Cutler 5 times last week.

Backup Caleb Hanie is sporting an injury and 16 year veteran Todd Collins has been brought in to compete for a backup job.

Rookie Dan LeFevour from Central Michigan has struggled completing only 5 of 20 passing for 60 yards no touchdowns and a pick. LeFevour piled up yardage against awful MAC defenses in college and when he stepped up in class against BCS competition he did not produce. Former Northwestern product Brett Basanez has not seen action but in the 2009 preseason he completed 57.7% of his passes for 221 yards two touchdowns and 3 picks.
