The Seattle Seahawks will travel to face NFC foe Minnesota Vikings in a week 3 NFL preseason game on Saturday night.
They kick off from Minnesota at 8PM Eastern Time with live television only to the Seattle and Minnesota markets. National television will be provided on a tape delayed basis by the NFL Network late night Friday night at 11PM Eastern Time.
The LVSC NFL odds makers opened the betting line and it was the home club Minnesota Vikings opening as 5 ½ point favorites with an over under of 41.
The early money from the NFL betting public has come on the side of the favorite as the Minnesota Vikings are now 6 point favorites. The total saw movement towards the under to 37 ½.

Hasselbeck has been sacked only once this season and protection has been an issue the past few seasons that saw the Seahawks starting signal caller missing games due to injury.
Backup Charlie Whitehurst acquired from San Diego is the teams backup and he has completed 23 of 42 passes for 287 yards three touchdowns and three picks.
J.P. Losman the third stringer has hit on 3 of 5 passes for 7 yards no touchdowns and 1 pick.
Minnesota sits at 1-1 in the preseason. The team has been impressive on the defensive end allowing an average of 11 points and only 210 ½ yards per game.
Veteran quarterback Bret Favre saw limited time last week hitting on just 1 of 1 passes for 10 yards and he took a sack.
Backup Tavaris Jackson has completed 9 of 15 passes for 54 yards no touchdowns and picks. Sage Rosenfels is battling Jackson for the backup to Bret Favre. Rosenfels in two preseason games has completed 25 of 41 for 321 yards three touchdowns and no picks. Rookie Joe Webb from UAB is the odd man out and has completed in limited action 11 of 20 passes for 84 yards a touchdown and no picks.
The Vikings have been hit with injuries to their wide receiver position as Sidney Rice will miss at least half the regular season with a hip injury and Percy Harvin is battling migraine issues. He is questionable for Saturday’s game.
