Six year veteran Kyle Orton sits on the Denver depth chart as the #1 quarterback and will start on Sunday. Orton completed 62.1% of his passes a season ago with 21 touchdowns and 12 interceptions.

Brady Quinn is listed on the Broncos depth chart as the #2 quarterback. Quinn had a poor 2009 season completing only 53.1% of his passes for 8 touchdowns and 7 interceptions. Media reports have Quinn a distance second to Orton for the top spot.

Rookie Tim Tebow is listed as the #3 quarterback and will get some work in the second half. The Broncos are carrying three quarterbacks.

The Broncos backfield will feature Correll Buckhalter and Knowshon Moreno. The veteran Buckhalter had a 5.4 yards a carry average in 2009. His is sporting a back injury and will not see action. Moreno struggled down the stretch hitting the rookie wall as he finished the season with a 3.8 yards per carry average.

Competing in the backfield for work is former Tennessee Titan LenDale White and former Raider Justin Fargas. White’s production went south last season with only a 3.5 yards per carry average with an outstanding offensive line. Fargas was hit with injury problems during his tenure with Oakland. Rookie Toney Baker from North Carolina St and 1st year players Bruce Hall and Lance Ball could get some looks.

Wide receiver Brandon Marshall is no longer a Bronco. It will be Eddie Royal and Daniel Graham as the starters with Brandon Lloyd and Richard Quinn as the backups. Veteran Brandon Stokley is third string on the depth chart. Rookie’s Alric Arnett from West Virginia and Eric Decker from Minnesota will see action.

This will be the second preseason game for the Bengals. They opened action in the Hall of Fame game last Sunday and lost 16-7.

The Bengals found the end zone in the final 51 seconds of the game and were not impressive offensively. They had just 171 total offensive yards. The club on the defensive side of the ball did not allow an offensive touchdown and had 5 sacks.

Carson Palmer saw limited action and went 2 of 5 for 18 yards. The backups looked awful in the Hall of Fame Game.

J.T. O’Sullivan was only 4 of 11 passing for 33 yards with an interception. Jordan Palmer looked shaky as well passing 10 of 20 for 102 yards a touchdown and 2 interceptions. Cincinnati’s offensive line gave up 5 sacks to the Cowboys.

The Bengals run game struggled with just a 2.5 yards per carry average on 17 carries. Second year back Bernard Scott just 19 yards on 7 tries. The team suffered a setback as backup running back Brian Leonard suffered a foot injury and is expected to miss significant time. Leonard is a huge loss as he was a chain mover for the club fighting for yardage against tacklers.

Terrell Owens debut with the Bengals resulted in 2 catches for 18 yards. Rookie Jordan Shiipley made his preseason debut with the club and had 2 catches for 17 yards.
