Kansas hit on 55% from the field and 9 of 21 from the three-point line. The Jayhawks controlled the glass with a 40-29 rebounding advantage. Sophomore guard Marcus Morris led the Jayhawks with 26 points and 10 rebounds in victory. Kansas will put Northern Iowa’s defense to the test, as they are number five in all of college basketball by averaging 82 points per game. By contrast Northern Iowa is number two in all of college basketball in scoring defense by allowing just 54.6 points a game.
