We brought in yet another winner on Tuesday as the Virginia Commonwealth Rams got the win and cover against the George Mason Colonials from first round CBI Tournament action. For Wednesday we select from the first round of the NIT Tournament as the Tulsa Golden Hurricane travel to face the Kent Golden Flashes. They tip this game off at Kent at 7PM Eastern Time. With our free pick we will play on the Kent Golden Flashes –4 points against the Tulsa Golden Hurricane.
Home court advantage will be a huge factor in this game and Kent owns the home court. The Golden Flashes are 13-2 in front of the home folks. I was not impressed with Tulsa in the Conference USA tournament as they were the host team and had very little support from the home folks as they did not show up. The Golden Hurricane had bad road losses by double digits at Memphis, UTEP, UAB and a neutral court loss by 31 to Nevada. The Golden Flashes have won 13 of 15 to close the season and will get the cover in this one.
