The Hoyas will be playing their fourth game in four nights compared to the Mountaineers three games in three nights. The Hoyas have shot extremely well in this Big East conference tournament. The Hoyas opened play in the Big East tournament with a 69-49 victory as a 7-point favorite over the South Florida Bulls by hitting on 45.8% of their shots. In the quarterfinal round it was Georgetown with the 91-84 upset win as a 5-½ point underdog. The Hoyas shot 57.9% in victory. Then in the semifinal round it was Georgetown with the 80-57 blowout victory as a 3 ½ point betting favorite. The Hoyas shot 53.6% in victory. Center Greg Monroe led the Hoyas with 23 points in their victory over the Golden Eagles on Friday.
