They opened play in the Pac 10 tournament with a 59-52 win against Oregon St as a 9 point betting favorite. They followed up that victory with a 79-64 blowout win over the Stanford Cardinals in the Pac 10 tournament semifinals as an 8 ½ point favorite. The Huskies were good on the defensive end allowing the Cardinal just 31.3% shooting from the field. Forward Quincy Pondexter led the Huskies with 19 points in victory over Stanford.
