Leading scorer Tre’Von Willis is coming off a nice effort with 20 points on 9 of 15 shooting in the win over the Cowboys.
The Utah Utes will not earn an at large bid into the NCAA Tournament nor the consolation tournaments as the team sits with a 14-16 overall record and 7-9 mark in Mountain West conference play. The team enters play losers of 2 straight games. They are coming off a 76-67 road loss at Colorado St on Saturday as a 2-½ point underdog. The loss took away the ability for the Utes to win one game in the Mountain West Tournament to qualify for an at large bid into the NIT, CBI and College Insider Tournament. Utah converted on just 40% of their shots and allowed the Rams to hit on 50%. Guard Marshall Henderson led the Utes with 18 points at Colorado St in defeat.
