Cincinnati Bearcats versus West Virginia Mountaineers ESPN TV College Basketball Sports Betting Odds Pick Preview

The Cincinnati Bearcats will face the West Virginia Mountaineers in the quarterfinal round of the Big East Conference tournament on Thursday night. They tip off this college basketball contest at Madison Square Garden at 9:30PM Eastern Time with national television coverage provided by ESPN.

It will be the second meeting this regular season between these schools. It was the West Virginia Mountaineers with the 74-68 home victory over the Cincinnati Bearcats back on February 27th as a 12-½ point favorite. This will be the third game in three nights for the Bearcats as they got by Rutgers 69-68 on Tuesday.

West Virginia sits with a 24-6 record this season and 13-5 in Big East play. They finished in a tie with three teams for second place in conference. The Mountaineers are a lock for an NCAA Tournament bid and is playing for seeding. They finished off the regular season winning 5 of their last 6 and three straight. It was an impressive 68-66 road victory at Villanova this past Saturday as a 3 point underdog. West Virginia held the Wildcats to just 38.3% shooting in their win. Senior forward Da’Sean Butler led the Mountaineers with 21 points against Villanova. West Virginia earned the double bye in the Big East Tournament and will just begin play on Thursday.
