The Tennessee Titans sit with a record of 6-7 and outside the playoffs. They sit a full game back of the 7-6 teams for a post-season berth with three games to play. The Titans are coming off a 47-7 pounding of the St Louis Rams last week. Tennessee was able to amass 446 yards on the Rams defense in victory. Starting quarterback Vince Young was forced to leave the game last week with a hamstring problem. Young is expected to play, as he was able to practice on Friday. Running back Chris Johnson has been outstanding on the year with 1626 yards rushing and a 6.0 yards a carry average. After starting the season at 0-6 the team has gone 6-1 in the past 7 weeks to contend for a post-season berth. Tennessee has improved greatly during this time period as members of their secondary returned to the lineup after facing early season injuries. Tennessee on the defensive side of the ball has stopped the run well this season allowing just 99 yards a game and 4.2 yards per carry against average.
