The Northern Illinois Huskies from the MAC conference will face the South Florida Bulls from the Big East conference in the International Bowl college football game to be played on Saturday January 2nd. Kick off time in Toronto Canada is scheduled for 12PM Eastern Time with national television coverage provided by ESPN2. The Bulls have notable victories over Florida State and West Virginia. Northern Illinois qualified for the International Bowl with a 7-5 record. The team has dropped its last two games losing to the MAC conference two best teams in Ohio U and Central Michigan. The Huskies are a rushing team averaging 203 yards on the ground per game. Their dual backs have produced this season as Chad Spann averaged 5.9 yards on the ground and Me’co Brown 4.4. Sophomore quarterback Chandler Harnish hit on 66% of his passes with 11 touchdowns and 5 interceptions. The team lost their bowl game last season dropping a 17-10 decision as a 3-point underdog to Louisiana Tech.
