The South Florida Bulls will leave the warm sunshine and travel to the cold climate of Connecticut in a Big East conference college football game against the Huskies on Saturday night in prime time. Kick off time in Connecticut is scheduled for 8PM Eastern Time with national television coverage provided by ESPN2. Miami torched the Bulls defense on the ground as the Hurricanes gained 240 yards rushing. Freshman quarterback B.J. Daniels struggled hitting on just 6 of 16 last week for 77 yards in defeat. B.J. Daniels is only hitting on 51.3% of his passes with 12 touchdowns and 9 interceptions. South Florida are losers of 4 of their past 6 games. On the ground senior quarterback Moise Plancher is averaging 4.6 yards per carry on the season. He has seen his carries increase the past two games and may be used more extensively with possible in climate weather. Both B.J. Daniels and Moise Plancher are from Florida so it’s likely they haven’t played in snow. The Bulls will need to be good against the run and they are not. South Florida is 7th in the Big East in rushing defense allowing 138 yards per game and 3.93 yards per rush attempt.
