The Ohio Bobcats will face the Central Michigan Chippewas for the MAC Conference championship in a college football game in prime time on Friday night on a neutral field. Kick off time at Ford Field in Detroit Michigan is scheduled for 8PM Eastern Time with national television coverage provided by ESPN2. He didn’t do much last week with just 36 yards rushing with 13 carries against Temple. Central Michigan is 10-2 on the season and won the MAC conference West division with an 8-0 record. The Chippewas are led by NFL pro football prospect Dan Lefevour at quarterback. The senior signal caller has hit on 71% of his passes wit 25 touchdowns and 5 interceptions on the season. Lefevour has passed for 9 touchdown passes and no picks over his past three games. Dan Lefevour is a run threat as he has rushed 157 times for 650 yards for 4.1 yards a carry average with 14 rushing touchdowns. The Chippewas are rushing the football very well with an average of 176 rushing yards per game and the Bobcats do give up 154 yards a game on the ground on defense. On the defensive side Central Michigan allows only an average of 17.8 yards per game this season. The Chippewas are the #2 defense in the MAC conference allowing 331 yards per game.
