The Boise St Broncos will be looking for style points when they hit the road in a WAC conference college football action in a contest with the Utah St Aggies in prime time on Friday night. Kick off time at Utah St is scheduled for 9:30PM Eastern Time with national television coverage provided by ESPN2. The LVSC college football odds makers have set the opening point spread in this game and the Boise St Broncos were opened as a 24-point favorite. Boise St is coming off an impressive 63-25 victory last week at a 7-win Idaho team. The Broncos were beneficiaries of 7 Idaho turnovers in the game. Boise St was able to earn a 38-point victory despite allowing Idaho to gain 514 yards on their defense. That was the most yards gained on Boise St all season. Sophomore quarterback Kellen Moore is hitting on 67% of his passes this season with 32 touchdowns and only 3 interceptions. He is coming off a 5 touchdown passing performance last week against the Vandals. On the ground junior running back Jeremy Avery is the leading ball carrier with yards a carry average of 5.9 this season. Utah St is 3-7 on the year and has been disqualified from bowl consideration. The team is coming off a 24-9 win at home to a very bad San Jose St team last week. The team has been very competitive in games this season with close losses of 4 points or less to Nevada, Fresno St and an 8 point loss at Texas A&M. At quarterback for Utah St is junior Diondre Borel who has hit on 58% of his passes with 13 touchdowns and only 3 interceptions. He has had some good road performances with 71% accuracy at BYU and 64.5% accuracy at Fresno St. On the ground sophomore ball carrier Robert Turbin has ran great with a 6.6 yards per carry average in 169 carries this season. Turbin had 100 yard rushing games against Utah, Texas A&M and against Fresno St this season. The Aggies allow 30.7 points per game to their opponents and allow 435 yards per game that ranks 8th in the WAC conference. Opposing teams average a high 6.1 yards per play against the Aggies defense this season.
