The New England Patriots will be out for revenge when they host the New York Jets in an NFL football game on Sunday afternoon. Brady is in synch with his receivers and has passed for 300 or more yards in four straight games The Patriots were torched by Peyton Manning for 316 yards but its unlikely we will see this performance from the Jets. The Jets are in a tailspin sitting under .500 at 4-5 this season. The team is coming off a 24-22 loss at home to the Jacksonville Jaguars and are now losers of 5 of their past 6 games. The Jets were stung last week with 3 turnovers while their opponent the Jacksonville Jaguars played turnover free football. Rookie quarterback Mark Sanchez hit on 16 of 30 last week for 212 yards 1 touchdown and 2 interceptions in defeat. Sanchez has had accuracy issues with no game better than 57% accuracy over his past 7 interceptions. Thomas Jones had 21 carries last week for 77 yards for a 3.7 yards a carry average. With Leon Washington out for the year with a broken leg running back Shonn Greene had just 26 yards on 7 carries. The Jets were very sloppy on defense last week with their tackling and defensive line coach Kerry Locklin was fired on Monday. The Jets have struggled after losing nose tackle Kris Jenkins out for the season. There is huge injury concern for New York on defense as safety Jim Leonard is undergoing surgery for his thumb and is questionable for the game.
