The New York Giants struggled mightily when they hit their bye week. The team has lost 4 straight games and opposing offenses has torched their secondary. After shutting down the San Diego Chargers on the ground they allowed Phillip Rivers to drive the team in for a game-winning touchdown in the closing seconds. The Giants have been decimated by injuries to their secondary and teams have been exploiting this unit. Giant’s starter Eli Manning is hitting on 60% of his passes with 15 touchdowns and 8 interceptions. Manning was accurate against San Diego with 75.8% passing in defeat but was sacked on five occasions. Running back Brandon Jacobs has only averaged 4.1 yards a carry on the season. After a good start to the season Ahmad Bradshaw has been no better than 2.8 a carry over his past three games. The Atlanta Falcons are coming off a 28-19 road loss last week at Carolina. The Falcons have not looked good playing away from their dome, as they are losers of 4 of their 5 games on the highway this season. In the Falcons three straight road losses starting quarterback Matt Ryan is battling accuracy issues as he has completed just barely over half of his passes with 4 touchdowns and 7 interceptions. The team has great concerns with their running back as Michael Turner was forced to leave last weeks game with what has been diagnosed as a high ankle sprain. Turner is a 5.0 yards per carry back this season but if cannot go it could be Jason Snelling or Jerious Norwood as the starting back. Snelling in relief of Turner gained just 61 yards on 18 carries. The Falcons offensive line has had problems protecting Ryan. The Falcons signal caller will be facing a Giants pass rush with a weeks rest and chomping at the bit to get pressure him. The Atlanta defense has not been very good this season allowing an average of 371 yards to their opponents this season with teams passing for 240 yards a game.

Tony T’s Opinion: If this game makes my card I would lay no more than a touchdown with the Giants. The Giants pass rush will be fierce and we may be looking at a rough day for the dirty birds in New York.
