UNLV Rebels versus Air Force Falcons The Mountain Saturday College Football Odds Sports Betting Pick Preview

The UNLV Rebels will look to inch closer to bowl eligibility when they face the Air Force Falcons in a Mountain West conference college football game on Saturday afternoon. Kick off time at the Air Force is scheduled for 6PM Eastern Time with national television coverage provided by The Mountain. The LVSC college football odds makers have set the opening point spread in this game and the Air Force Falcons opened as a 17-point favorite. The early money from the college football betting public has not moved the point spread off the opening number as the current point spread reveals the Air Force Falcons as a 17 point favorite. The over under is currently lined at 47. The Rebels run defense has been poor all season and allowed over 200 yards rushing on Colorado St last week. UNLV allows its opponents an average of 447 yards per game with 236 coming on the ground and ranking 9th and last in the Mountain West Conference. Air Force is 6-3 this season and bowl eligible this season. The team is coming off a 35-7 home victory against Army. Air Force has played their opponents very tough in their losses by losing by 3 at Navy, 3 home to TCU and by 6 at Utah. Air Force runs the option and averages 264 yards per game on the ground. The Falcons average 4.2 yards per attempt this season and will be running against a very weak UNLV run defense. Air Force doesn’t pass very much as they run 6 times for every 1 passing attempt. Jared Tew the junior running back is the leading ball carrier for Air Force with a 3.6 yards a carry average. He is coming off a 102 yards rushing game against Army last week. Asher Clark averages 5.1 yards a carry on 107 attempts for the Falcons. Air Force has been very good on defense this season allowing their opponents just 12.9 points per game. The Falcons are 2nd in the Mountain West in total defense allowing just 263 yards per game.
