Rookie quarterback Matthew Stafford returned to action off a knee injury and played poorly last week against the Rams. The Lions quarterback was only 14 of 33 with 168 yards no touchdowns and 1 interception. Stafford has struggled through practice this week with his knee limiting his mobility. The Lions have scored just 10 points in their past 2 games and are losers of 4 straight games. The Lions are 0-3 on the road this season losing by an average score of 39-17. Running back Kevin Smith has not run effectively with just 3.1 yards per carry. The Lions defense is very poor allowing 251 yards a game against the pass. Opposing quarterbacks complete 70.5% of their passes against the Lions defense ranking 31st in the NFL.
