In their meeting last year the Texas A&M Aggies beat Colorado Buffaloes 24-17 as a 4-point favorite. The Buffaloes were very sloppy on the day turning over the football three times in defeat. Texas A&M is 5-3 on the season and just 1 more victory away from being bowl eligible. The Aggies have won two straight winning at Texas Tech 52-30 and home last week to Iowa St 35-10. The Aggies have really kicked up the offense the past two weeks with 560 yards on Texas Tech and 501 yards last week against Iowa St. Junior quarterback Jerrod Johnson is riding a hot hand right now as he completed 68% of his passes to Texas Tech and 82% to Iowa St last week in victory. Johnson has passed for 4 touchdowns in the winning streak with no interceptions. The Aggies get good production on the ground as Cyrus Gray in 120 carries averaged 4.7 yards per carry and Christine Michael a good 5.2 yards per rush on the season. Defensively Texas A&M has given up chunks of yards this season at 400 a game ranking 12th and last in the Big 12 conference. Colorado is a very disappointing 2-6 on the year and with 1 more loss will be disqualified from bowl consideration. The Buffaloes are coming off two straight losses and struggling big time offensively with just 23 points total over their past 2 games. Colorado has been grounded and bad running the football with just 74 rushing yards in 55 carries the past two weeks. Sophomore quarterback Tyler Hansen has hit on only 57% of his passes this season with 1 touchdown and 2 interceptions on the year. Hansen is playing for the inaccurate coaches son Cody Hawkins who has been relegated to the bench due to poor play. The running game is atrocious for the Buffaloes with just 2.4 yards per carry average on the year. The Buffaloes have been torched on defense as opposing teams average just under 30 points a game on them and over 380 yards. Colorado has major issues with ball security as they own a –7 turnover margin on the year. The team have lost 10 fumbles and thrown 13 interceptions on the year.

Tony T’s Opinion: You can’t play Colorado in this spot getting only 3 points. I know they are at home but really a team who turns the ball over an average of 3 times a game is not a good bet at such a low price.
