This is Breeders Cup Race number one and is scheduled as the third race on the Oak Tree at Santa Anita card and will be run on the turf going 1 3/4 miles. Mastery will be ridden by Lanfranco Dettori and is trained by Suroor Bin. This race horse is shipping in from England and is coming off a grade 1 win back on September 12th. The three year old colt has 3 in the money finishes over his past 3 races with two Grade 1 and one Grade 2 races run in that span. Mastery’s credentials are way above the US entrants in the Breeders Cup Marathon and based on his class is the clear winner in this one.
