The Houston Texans will travel to face the Indianapolis Colts in an AFC South divisional game on Sunday afternoon. Kick off time is set for 1PM Eastern Time with regional television coverage provided by CBS. The Houston Texans are suddenly winning games on the road in bad spots as a road favorite and may be turning the corner as a possible playoff entrant this season. The team sits at 5-3 this season and has won three straight. What has been impressive this season is that the Texans are 3-1 on the road on the season. Houston has won two straight on the road winning at Cincinnati and Buffalo. The Texans piled up 439 yards on the Buffalo defense last week. Schaub has hit on 70% or better in 4 of the teams 8 games this season. Wide receiver Andre Johnson has been outstanding with 44 catches with 4 touchdowns and 15.8 yards per catch average. Last week the Texans sent running back Steve Slaton to the bench for being ineffective and back up Ryan Moats took advantage of the opportunity with 126 rushing yards on 23 carries and 3 touchdowns. The Texans have improved greatly on defense as the team only allows 113 yards on the ground and 213 passing. Indianapolis is a perfect 7-0 this season and the team came off their bye and squeaked by the San Francisco 49ers 18-14 last week. The 49ers were coming off their bye as well and their defense was sharp with three sacks and their coverage was very good. Peyton Manning hit on 64% of his passes for 347 yards but did not have a touchdown pass because the 49ers made stops in the red zone that resulted in field goals. Manning has passed for 15 touchdowns and only 4 picks on the season. Colts running back Joseph Addai has struggled with season with 102 rushing attempts for just 3.3 yards per carry average. Rookie running back Donald Brown had a sore shoulder last week and has performed well this season with 46 carries for 4.6 yards per carry average. Indianapolis pass defense will face an explosive passing offense in Houston but Indy is number one in the NFL giving up just 8.2 yards per completion against their opponents. Indianapolis is very sharp in pass defense.
