This was an exciting season of baseball, and many had predicted that the Yankees would falter when it came down to it. They rose to the occasion when it mattered most though.
When you have the biggest payroll in baseball, one could say that a World Series win should be expected. The Yankees went on a spending spree during the off season, adding some huge names to the mix.

I somehow agree with Comment #2.. Seriously, these predictions were getting annoying. I use to be a Hardcore Soccer and baseball fan, But do you all this kind of stuff happening, I almost stopped watching Baseball Matches :/ Sad, But a fact =)
