The Washington Huskies from the Pac 10 will pay a visit to South Bend Indiana for a college football game against the Notre Dame Fighting Irish on Saturday afternoon. Kick off time at Notre Dame is set for 12:30PM Eastern Time with national television coverage provided by NBC. Clausen has been accurate this season with 10 touchdowns and only 1 interception on the season. Washington after a huge upset against USC fell to an improved Stanford club 34-14 last week. The Husky defense was torched for 424 yards last week with senior running back Toby Gerhart gaining 200 rushing yards against them. The defense will be up against it on Saturday to an Irish team that is good on the ground with Armando Allen and Jimmy Clausen leading the passing game. Husky quarterback Jake Locker is hitting on 58% of his passes this season with six touchdowns and three interceptions on the season. Locker had a bad game in the teams’ first road game of the season hitting on only 51% of his passes with two interceptions at Stanford. The Huskies are on the road here in back-to-back weeks. The Huskies are very poor on the ground this season with a yard per carry average of 3.3 yards on 132 carries on the season. Notre Dame will have a bye next week and then on October 17th they will host the USC Trojans.
