The Steelers were able to shut down the Titans potent running game as the team only gained 86 yards rushing. The Titans will face an inferior defense on Sunday, as the Texans were in the bottom tier in most defensive categories a year ago. The Texans defense opened the season giving up 462 total yards to a Jets team breaking in a rookie quarterback in his first ever start. In the opener the Titans defense clamped down against the run allowing 38 yards rushing but tired late in the game that led to Pittsburgh making big plays in the fourth quarter to force overtime. The early money from sports bettors may believe that the Houston Texans passing offense could come to life here as Tennessee gave up 357 passing yards to Pittsburgh.
