The Colorado Buffaloes have a quick turnaround after losing to in state rival Colorado St Rams 23-17 on Sunday. The team had problems with their running game rushing for only 29 yards at home to their rival. Colorado head coach Dan Hawkins guaranteed 10 wins in 2009 and a loss to CSU makes this nearly impossible and Hawkins tenure at the school is in danger. Colorado teams under Dan Hawkins have under performed following their game against their in state rival. On the Toledo Rockets side they are coming off a 52-31 pounding at Purdue a week ago. Despite the margin the Rockets got close in this game and was within striking distance thanks to their offense. The Rockets showed that they could move the football and put points on the board based on their 493 yards of total offense. Quarterback Aaron Opelt passed for 41 of 67 for 423 yards with 3 touchdowns and 1 interception against the Purdue defense. Purdue ran wild against Toledo last week as they amounted 315 rushing yards.
