Ogilvy is first on the money list in 2009 and is a live longshot to post his second ever Major victory.

Padraig Harrington has been lined in the betting for the US Open at +1500. Harrington has struggled on tour having missed the cut in 3 of his past 4 events on tour. Harrington’s best finish was an 11th place finish at the Arnold Palmer Invitational back in late March. Harrington took home two Major championships in 2008 winning the British Open and the PGA Championship. Harrington’s 2009 season has not been up good this season as the native of Dublin, Ireland ranks 105th on the money list and 119th in scoring average.

Sergio Garcia is lined at +2800 to win the US Open. Sergio Garcia is still looking for his first major victory. The 29 year old from Castellon, Spain has had a rough go in 2009 missing 5 cuts in 8 events. Garcia in 2002 at Bethpage Black Course finished 4th at the US Open after shooting an opening round of 68. Garcia missed the cut at the 2009 Masters and had a second place finish at the PGA Championship in 2008.

    It already looks like Tiger has blown this one, the course took a huge beating by the weather which would explain some performances by the top players.
