The scene moves over to Orlando in the NBA Eastern Conference best of 7 series finals. Tip off time on Sunday is at 8:30PM Eastern Time with TNT providing the coverage. The series is all knotted up at a game apiece following Lebron James’ three-point buzzer beater that defeated Orlando 96-95. The series prices have been adjusted after game 2 and Cleveland is up to a –400 favorite with the Magic at +300 to pull off the series upset. LVSC has opened the line for game 3 as a pick em with the over under coming in at 189. The early money has come in on the home team Orlando Magic, as they are currently a 1-½ point favorite. The total has saw upward movement to an over under of 189 ½. With a pick em opening number the money line on each side was opened at –110. Money line players have played Orlando straight up as they currently are paying –125 on the money line with Cleveland at +105 to win without the aid of getting points.
Orlando in this series have proven to shoot for a high percentage against Cleveland. In game 1 the Magic shot over 55% and in game 2 in a game desperately needed by the Cavaliers the Magic converted on just under 48% from the field. All the publicity from game 2 comes from Lebron James’ buzzer beater but what should be the headline in this series is that Orlando owns home court for the remainder of this series. And one can put in the sub headline that Orlando has played toe to toe with Cleveland on their home court and has shown the ability to win at Cleveland. Orlando has beaten the Cavaliers twice this season in their only 2 meeting in Orlando with 1 of the games being a blowout 29 point win by the Magic. The Cavaliers did defend Dwight Howard better in game 2 as the Magic center scored only 10 points on 3-8 shooting from the field and 4-8 from the free throw line. The Magic has too much offense to lose because of Lebron James alone so they will need more production from Mo Williams who has shot only 13-40 from the field in this series.
Trend: Orlando is 11-1 ATS in their past 12 meetings
The Wagerline consensus has 54.8% the bettors on Orlando –1 1/2
The Wagerline consensus has 53.8% of the bettors playing over 189 1/2
